How To Keep Pond Water Clean ... OASE Biotec Pond Filter Series for Koi Ponds

The OASE Biotec filters enables mechanical and biological multi chamber to flow through the filter without any problems. And it  has an increased filtration system due to hydro mats and brushes for dirt particles. Biotec has been proven to scientifically ensure crystal clear pond water when implemented continuously.

The Biotec is designed to eliminate cloudy, dirty water and algae growth by converting ammonia, produced by fish waste, dead plants, etc., into nitrite and then into relatively harmless nitrate using a natural process. This filter is designed to be used outside of the pond and cannot be pressurized.

There are 4 Oase Biotec Pond Filter Models

  • Boitec 4: is a four step filter and smallest in all available OASE Biotec range

  • Biotec 5 and Boitec 10: are made for clean and clearer ponds also made of UV resistant plastic with pollution and temperature indicator and thermometer.

  • Again with the Biotec 5 and 10, its simple to clean because of the multi-chamber system

  • OASE Biotec 30: Is for large ponds. Biotec 30 has a sludge drain for removal of solids and enables rapid breakdown of large quantities of nutrients.

The Oase Biotec Pond filters have Been  specially developed for Koi ponds.

Oxygen enriched pond water is fed into the Biotec pond filter. Solids are removed uisng different grades of filter media. Biological cleaning converts harmful ammonia via nitrite to nitrate and finally into harmless gaseous nitrogen (to some extent only using anaerobic conditions). The Biotec 5.1 and 10.1 are the latest generation of the Oase Biotec family of gravity filters. All Oase Biotec filters accept direct connection of the necessary Oase Bitron UVC.
