This Filtoclear pressure has all operating elements in a filter system as well as inlets and outlets which are integrated on a well designed cover. What the Filtoclear pressure filter does with the polluted water is that it pumps it into a sealed closed system because of its operating pressure.

Change the flow dial to "backwash", plunge (squeeze) the filter by lifting the cleansing lever. This allows the solids to be rinsed out. Put the flow dial back to normal.

Pressurized pond filter design allows clean filtered water to be pumped to a level above the pond (eg into a waterfall), then back into the pond. Filtoclear has an Integrated UVC (ultra violet clarifier) that keeps water clear.
