Heissner Aqua Clear and Clear Per pond clarifiers eliminate single celled algae, the cause of green or brown pond water by exposing the algae cells to high energy Ultra Violet light as they pass the lamp. This causes the cell to become sticky and flocculation occurs.

The algae is now large enough to be trapped in the mechanical stage of the filtration system. The product uses the high performance PL lamps that offers both higher outputs per watt than conventional UV lamps and yield a longer working life of up to 8000 hours.
